Career
and Academic Advising
While
attending West Orange College, individual advising is
available to all students. It is the mission of the
College to assist the students to complete their
educational program successfully and then get employed.
WOC's faculty and administrative staff are well
qualified to assist students in resolving problems which
might hinder students from achieving their educational
goals at WOC's. In addition, WOC provides referral to
outside counseling services if required.

Employment
Assistance Upon
successful completion of a vocation-related program,
(i.e., other than English as a Second Language programs)
graduates are eligible to participate in the West Orange
College's job placement assistance service. Students
will receive such assistances as resume writing, job searching,
refining interviewing techniques, direct employment
referral, and arranging appointments for job interviews.
However, employment is not guaranteed. |

Refresher
Technical Assistance
WOC
offers to all graduates the opportunity to "brush
up" on their acquired skills. Graduates may contact
the Admissions Office and inquire about the available
time slots for such service.
Campus
Bookstore
Students
can order all required textbooks and reference materials
from the college's bookstore.
